Milwaukee Bucks guard, Brandon Knight, offered girls and boys, ages 7-14, the opportunity to attend a free basketball camp before the start of the school year on August 18 at the Northside YMCA and on August 19 at the Urban Day School.
During the camps the kids sported their free camp t-shirt and got to hang out with one of their favorite NBA stars. They ran through drills, got personal instruction on shooting technique, dribbling, and offensive and defensive drills. It was a great time, and a great even put on by a great guy.
Knight landed in Milwaukee in 2013 after playing his first two seasons for the Detroit Pistons. Last season he averaged a career high 17.4 points, 4.9 assists, and 3.4 rebounds a game. He’s an explosive and unselfish point guard with a knack for finding his teammates when it counts in the game. As one of the top young scorers, Knight has a bright future among the top basketball talent in the world.
