Cavs Officially Sign First Overall Pick Andrew Wiggins, Can’t Trade for 30 Days


Rumors have been flying that the Cleveland Cavaliers would be trading rookie sensation Andre Wiggins to the Timberwolves, but those talks will simmer down now that the Cavaliers have official signed the rising star.

Rumors had surfaced recently that the Chicago Bulls entered the race for Kevin Love, meaning the Cavaliers would need to work with the current roster they have.

The signing of Wiggins will holt the trade talk for the Cavs the agreement prevents any potential trade involving the small forward from being completed for 30 days.

Many anticipate the Timberwolves to work out a trade with the Cavaliers as Love as made it clear he will not sign a long term contract with the franchise.
