Clippers Sign Danny Granger and Big Baby Davis for Playoff Push

The Los Angeles Clippers have proved to be a team to fear with Blake Griffin and Chris Paul leading the way, but now this duo have two solid players in the backcourt with Danny Granger and Big Baby Davis.

These recently signed free agents will bring experience to an already talented bench of JJ Reddick, Matt Barnes, Jamal Crawford, Jared Dudley and Reggie Bullock.

Many question the move by the Philadelphia 76ers in trading young up and comer Evan Turner to the Indiana Pacers for Danny Granger. While financially it assisted the club, you look at their overall season and can see that they are doing what every sports fan hates and that is lose to win … essentially losing to improve their chances to get the the 1st overall draft pick in the 2014 NBA Draft.

The collapse of the 76ers turned out to be a win for the Clippers as they wasted no time to pick up Danny Granger. He has shown flashes in the past that he can not only defend but also make a big impact on the offense.

Time will tell how these Danny Granger and Big Baby Davis will fit in, but this definitely gives the Clippers an edge over the Thunder going into the playoffs. Many fans including myself look forward to seeing Danny Granger on the break with Chris Paul leading the way.
