Jonas Valanciunas Presented the Summer League MVP – Raptors Rising Talent?

Jonas ValanciunasJonas Valanciunas was presented with the 2013 Vegas Summer League MVP award as he averaged 18.8 points and 10.0 rebounds over four games for the Toronto Raptors. While many may have trouble pronouncing his last name, soon enough Charles and the TNT crew will nickname him with something we can all catch on to.

His performance in the Summer League was impressive and has the GM’s for the Raptors excited as he will be joining All-Star Rudy Gay next season along with some fresh new talent.

Mr. V aka Valanciunas (say that 10times) is with good company as Blake Griffin, John Wall, Jerryd Bayless, Nate Robinson, Josh Selby, Damian Lillard and Randy Foye have previously been named Summer League MVP.

Is he the next coming of Chris Bosh in Toronto? The GM’s and Owners can only hope he is! Too soon to tell though!
