The 2013 Free Agency has been surrounded around the big decision by Dwight Howard, but since his announcement the focus has been on the other top free agents.
Top Free Agent Josh Smith agreed to sign with the Detroit Pistons on a four-year, $56 million deal. Smith, who spent his first nine seasons in Atlanta and averaged 17.5 points, 8.4 rebounds, 4.2 assists and 1.8 blocks per game last season.
While the Pistons have a long way before they are a winning franchise, Josh Smith a great first step as he is an all around good player who does the intangibles. The Pistons have a long of young talent like Will Bynum, Andre Drummond, and Jonas Jerebko.
Look for the Pistons to have a better record that last year, but will struggle with the top teams in the East.
