Kevin Durant probably made one of the toughest decisions this free agency, but he has decided to join the Golden State Warriors and play alongside Klay Thompson and Stephen Curry. Their front 5 will be a force to reckon with especially with a stretch 3-4 like Kevin Durant alongside the sharp shooting duo of Klay Thompson and Stephen Curry. The Warriors look to reload and regain momentum with Kevin Durant as they only lost Harrison Barnes (who had one of the worst NBA Final performances we have seen) to the Dallas Mavericks.
Side Note: Many believe the signing by the Mavericks of Harrison Barnes was a desperate attempt by Mark Cuban to keep Dirk Nowitzki happy with new growing talent around him.
This free agency signing by the Warriors will only make their team a greater force to be reckoned with in the West and will most likely edge them over the Cavaliers.
Oklahoma City Thunder
With his departure, many will wonder what the next move will be by the Thunder front office. There are several free agents available that may be great co-parts to the rising Russell Westbrook including Pau Gasol (even though reports have said he will be looking to join the Raptors, Trailblazers or Spurs).
Look for the Thunder to attempt to find a guard or forward to fit within their offense especially after they traded Serge Ibaka and now have lost Kevin Durant.
