Manu Ginobili Agrees to 2-Year Deal with Spurs? Good Move?

Manu-GinobiliThe Big Three look to be staying together as the San Antonio Spurs sign Manu Ginobili to a reportedly 2yr / 14 mil deal.

Manu struggled with injuries all year and arguably had his worst statistics since his rookie year. Ginobili, 36, averaged 11.8 points and 4.6 assists per game while shooting 42.5 percent from the field.

The big glaring question mark here is if this was a good move by the Spurs? While Manu has been loyal to the Spurs, he quickly was a non-factor in the playoffs. Not to mention, he had a critical turnover in the final minutes of Game 7 in the NBA Finals.

While he still has a lot of skill, the money could have been spent on new young talent or a player that could come off the bench who can “consistently” deliver 15 ppg.
