Mike Miller proved to be critical piece in the Miami Heat offense, especially when they needed to spread the floor. His ability to knock down the three seemingly almost every time he had the ball, made him a huge distraction during the NBA Playoffs.
While many question his ability to run up and down the floor, he seems to be okay with simply coming in and playing his role and nothing more. He does not appear to be a confrontational player who demands playing time.
Does this make the Grizzlies? At first glance, slightly, but only because it allows Randolph and Gasol to go to work without players cheating over and doubling them in the post.
Look for the Miami Heat to increase Ray Allens minutes come the 2013-2014 season to fill the void of Miller.
