The Big Sloppy aka Psycho T or as we call him Tyler Hansbrough has agreed to sign a two-year deal with the Toronto Raptors. The details of the contract have not been released but the Pacers are losing a good role player off their bench while the Raptors are picking up a player that won’t make their team dramatically better.
Hansbrough was the 13th pick in the 2009 draft and hasn’t exactly gotten the minutes a 13th pick is typically given, but with a team like the Pacers their forwards/centers are productive so he is smart to find a new home to build his name.
Hansbrough averaged seven points and 4.6 rebounds in 16.9 minutes last season for the Indiana Pacers.
Look for Pacers to possibly replace Hansbrough with another decently sized forward who is willing to battle in the middle and come off the bench especially during the playoffs.
