Whats Next for the 2013 NBA Champions Miami Heat? Greg Oden?

greg-odenDuring the 2013 Miami Heat NBA Championship several weaknesses were exposed and one of them was their lack of size at the Center Position. We saw players like Chris “Birdman” Anderson play center for the Heat as well as Chris Bosh and occasionally Joel Anthony.

Unfortunately, these players could not match up with players like Tim Duncan, Tiago Splitter, and Joakim Noah.

Reports have surfaced that the Miami Heat have their eyes set on Former Trailblazer Greg Oden. Will this solve their Center troubles? Its truly a big question mark as we have barely seen Oden play a full season let alone a 30-40 game stretch.

As for the analysis by No Flopping, we believe this will be another Brandon Roy return where in theory it sounds great, but injuries and overall fitness will prevent them from being effective on the floor.

Look for the Heat to keep their eyes open for other centers, even possibly Euro Players.
